Not that it matters whether someone is beautiful or not. Appearances can be deceiving. With the right life balance, anyone can look – and be – beautiful. The eyes and skin are clear, one sleeps well and is a source of positive energy. Like Paulina Porizkova.
The Czech-American model is born on April 9, 1965. She’s approaching her seventh decade. Last year, with 57, Porizkova was again on the cover of Vogue and Bazaar. After 40 years. A powerful sign against age discrimination.
Aging beautifully
Porizkova is not ashamed of her natural gray hair strands. “She’s upfront about aging in a beauty-obsessed culture (it’s not easy),” the New York Times recently wrote.
Porizkova wrote a book about aging with style and more: No Filter – which is available on Amazon. In a recent Instagram post she says, barely dressed:
I’m greeting it bare. Because I have nothing to hide. I’m finally comfortable in my own skin. I don’t need armor when I’m already armed with my experiences and the wisdom they’ve brought. All the really good stuff is crammed into this body and invisible on the outside. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It’s what keeps me standing tall and proud – even when undressed.
